Our client is a fast-growing Fintech-enabled firm specializing in the alternative lending space. They are based out of Singapore, and licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)

This is a new position and they are looking for an experienced Corporate Finance / Structured Finance specialist. The candidate will play an integral role in structuring and executing debt financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a team leader in cash flow-based financing transactions, including but not limited to structuring, arranging, executing, and syndicating deals
  • Key role in managing transaction due diligence and legal documentation process
  • Drive credit due diligence work and preparation of Investment Memorandum, and provide operational support as required including liaising with finance and legal counterparts
  • Support with overseeing the preparation of marketing material for potential investor meetings
  • Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing FinTech lending platforms in the Asia Pacific
  • Nurture and mentor investment associates

Key Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant deal execution experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Structured Finance, and/or DCM.
  • Deep understanding of FinTech and Financial Services landscape in Southeast Asia, and passionate about impact and sustainable investments.
  • Extensive knowledge in loans products including senior secured/unsecured loans, asset-based finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, mezzanine debt.
  • Able to persuasively defend transaction credit merits, engage in commercial discussions with clients and investor base.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) are required. Linguistic skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, or any other Southeast Asian language will be a huge plus
