The Manager, Construction Procurement will be responsible managing all Procurement aspects of supporting the Asia and Pacific construction project schedule. Candidate must understand best-practice procurement processes. This position is responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships, executing the construction project schedule, and optimizing cost.

  • Partner with Construction, Design, and Marketing teams to provide superior support and execute the store construction schedule.
  • Maximize cost efficiency and availability of all direct supply items while maintaining quality and service.
  • Responsible for Procurement of all direct supply construction materials, fixtures and fittings or the Foot Locker Asia and Pacific store rollouts.
  • Manage Asia / Pacific fixture supply chain.
  • Foster and maintain excellent supplier relationships. Leverage Supplier expertise to optimize cost and delivery efficiency.
  • Continually review and source ideas for updating and developing store fixtures to maximize sales and in-store customer experience, whilst achieving corporate standards.
  • Partner with Global Construction Procurement team to create global scale and synergy.
  • Acquire understanding of store design and construction processes.
  • Fine tune project management and negotiation skills.
  • Support Ariba Source-to-Pay Implementation
  • Support Asia Expansion

  • Professional Qualification or relevant business degree with relevant experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Access, etc)
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work with processes and systems that are evolving and subject to change
  • Must be able to work additional hours during busy periods.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
