Digital Product Manager role plays a pivotal role in contributing to QBE Asia’s Digital strategic focus by continually improving our digital assets and therefore creating, personalised, seamless digital experiences so that we can deliver to key business outcomes

We have ambitious digital maturity targets and as the Product Manager, you will lead the team to ensure we deliver a strategic digital roadmap that aligns to the customer vision and future-state customer journeys. While heavily involved in the day-to-day product development and delivery as part of an Agile product team, you also play a key strategic role to understand the market, the business and the customer to make the right decisions around the roadmap, the backlog and releases, as well as contribute to the product strategy and vision
• Use various sources of insight metrics available (NPS / channel analytics / dashboards) to make informed decisions about product changes / direction.
• Lead the Product roadmap development in cross-collaboration with key business stakeholders across all markets and functions and translate the roadmap into initiatives, features and a Product Backlog ensuring propositions and iterations have an evidence-based product market fit.
• Drive the strategy and overall success of the product / service through a solid understanding of the market, the business, and the customer.
• Identify high value Customer features and experiences, championing customer outcomes.
• Role model a Product Management and HCD mindset across cross-functional workstreams.
• Translate non-functional requirements into Epics and Features to be broken down by Product Owner into user stories. Create, prioritise and maintain the team backlog, defining release and sprint goals and answering questions to add detail to user stories. Create user test cases and execute testing
• Motivate the team to aspire to a clear strategic vision while retaining pragmatism to ensure near-term results are delivered.
• Partner with IT to define, document and deliver project requirements and delivery plan, including prioritisation and estimating.
• Keep up to date with new digital capability, working to include in our strategic road map where appropriate
• Liaise with Product Managers, design and solution architects, business stakeholders and technical development teams to deliver complex digital products and services.
• Contribute to ongoing product iteration, including management of changes, fixes and optimisations, together with larger roadmap initiatives.
• Collaborate with user experience, visual designers and agency partners, to define and create engaging and delightful customer experiences.
