About the Role

As our Procurement Specialist, you’ll be a crucial player within the Procurement team who directly manages and interacts with Gojek’s stakeholders on a daily basis. In this role, you'll take charge over the full spectrum of sourcing activities for a variety of portfolio vendors, establishing and maintaining strong relations with them. You'll also assist the Country Procurement Head in implementing cost reduction & avoidance initiatives and projects, and execute the Procurement Initiative Pipeline within the spend category. You’ll have ample opportunity to hone in on your negotiation and management skills, better positioning Gojek to achieve consistent and efficient earnings stability.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Country Procurement Head through value creation of cost reduction and cost avoidance initiative projects
  • Execute Procurement Initiative Pipeline pertaining to managed Spend Category, aligning it with procurement procedures
  • Lead and ensure the vendor selection process supports business targets
  • Maintain relationships with country vendors to support Gojek's positioning in the market
  • Support country procurement to build country’s price catalog (contracted), to strategize country expenditure, and to avoid a repetitive vendor selection process
  • Achieve provided annual saving target (both Cost Avoidance and Cost Reduction)
  • Prepare procurement documentation for each sourcing activity
  • Prepare for Early Procurement Involvement

What You Will Need

  • At least 3 years relevant work experience with hands on experience in procurement
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting, Finance, and Legal terms
  • Excellent people management skills in order to prioritize and handle multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
  • High proficiency with Procurement system modules
  • Familiarity with the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Procurement tools is a plus (e.g. Coupa, Ariba)
About the Team
Our Procurement team, part of the larger Purchasing team, consists of 14 people based in Indonesia. Working alongside the Finance and Accounting teams, we oversee the establishment and maintenance of stakeholder and vendor relations in the country, as well as manage the provided annual savings budget from our stakeholders within Gojek.
